Art-making has many ways.
It may be a pen on paper, a piano or a camera, a smartphone video or something as technically sophisticated as a modular synthesizer or the touchdesigner program.
It is something pure and spontaneous, even when it needs a lot of time and technical know-how. Like when I am creating generative abstract visuals in touchdesigner. Or sounds sculpted in a complex synthesizer like vcv-rack.
For me art-making is as natural as breathing.
Inspiration may come from anywhere.
Then it only needs the artistic impulse to go into a process, fully go with it and let the flow run its course.
Have a discerning eye on it but not judging the outcome.
Allow the process.
Surrender.
Beauty is the result.
Deep satisfaction.
This is why I do art.
