The butterflies are so happy today!
And i with them.
Because one of their species has been declared a
National Symbol of Costa Rica.
And this one has always been my most favorite of all butterflies.

Its butterfly time now
again, here where i live
after some rain
scores of them are swirling
flying, winging thru the humid air
where i walk the jungle paths
those slow walking caterpillars have finished
their mysterious transmutation
trans-formation into light-winged swarms
of yellow & white & blue
and other ones
much more intricate painted
those butterflies
what are they doing all day?
what are their plans?
