Waves, relentless …
waves rolling in
relentlessly
high tide or low
one after the other
ever rehaping the beach
they remind me os us, humans
one generation after the next
souls coming in
relentlessly
8.2 Billion and counting
we have not been good to our planet
we don’t intend to be
not in any significant way
I think we should see that by now
we have not been good to our people
waging war on our own kind from day one
not loving thy neighbor as thy self
not in a long shot!
we have not been good to our self either
with a few exceptions, I would say
our soul neglected
aiming for wealth and power
rather than wisdom and humility
How long are we going to keep going this way?
Wave after wave, soul after soul
Repeating the wheel
