The Soul

I like that word

I like to refer to her, the Soul

And like to refer to her as female

It gives me hope in the chaos of live and history

to know that Soul is there

It gives me perspective

It gives me continuity

It gives me meaning

SOUL

This is not a very popular word in our day and age

nowadays it is hardly a meme on Twitter

or high up on Google Search

and on Amazon.com

not so many interesting books show up

Books that would delve into the deep end

and explain to me what i am actually talking about …

SOUL

Although it has been a huge topic throughout the ages

for philosophers and saints alike

for people from all creeds and faiths and denominations

for the mystics of course but for the scholars too

for the desperate

for folks like you and me

maybe

in our times of need

when we are at the end of our ego’s whits

when we don’t know anymore what a person like us could do

when the armor is cracked

and our soul is raw

it prays

to God?

who prays to who?

and now i am confused

because the Soul is the Spark of God

one with God, they say

so who prays to who?

and so i go

back to the books

back to the saints

back to the Teachers of the Ages

the Ageless Wisdom Keepers

and i ask:

who is SOUL

who is GOD

and what the fuck is actually going on here within this body of this person that is commonly known as Cris???

Cris who lives one day at a time

enjoys a good coffee and the sun

enjoys to be able to help some people

and others maybe not so much

This person Cris who does the mundane tasks of life

every day, who tries to make a living

just like the billions others here

Cris wants to know

actually understand whats going on

how it all works with God and Soul and Consciousness

with Chakras and Etheric Bodies and Mental and Causal Realms

and glands and nerves and Nadis and Prana and Astral Planes

and Bardos and Reincarnation and Atma and Brahma

and all that stuff that has been around for ages

How all that is actually interrelated

and fitting together?

Yes! Cris wants to understand!

Maybe it really does not matter

matters not when i pray

not when i meditate

not when I AM

actually, i admit, it does not matter in the end

but may i, anyway?

may i still be

interested?
